The use of diesel fuel is no longer EPA Compliant and the spilling of diesel fuel on the ground in any quantity is a violation of the Clean Water Act and Oil Pollution Control Act. The EPA can levy fines of $10,000 per day per violation and have done so in several instances. Also, DOT is starting to crack down on the use of diesel fuel on state, federal, and military jobs.

Actually PaveForce works much better than diesel fuel. Because PaveForce has such a high flashpoint (over 200 degrees F.) it evaporates much more slowly than diesel fuel (flashpoint approximately of 130 degrees F.). Therefore, it stays on the tools and equipment much longer to prevent asphalt build up. It is also a stronger solvent than diesel fuel so it cleans much better.

That depends on how you determine cost. Yes PaveForce cost more per gallon than diesel fuel. True cost is not measuredby that method. True cost is not measured by that method. For example, your customer may pay more for a CAT Paver or Dozer than he would for a competitor’s product. However, his in use cost for the CAT product will be much lower over time because the CAT product will last longer, perform better, and offer better service through your dealership. Since PaveForce last at least four or five times longer than diesel fuel in preventing asphalt build up on shovels and tools (50 shovels compared to 10 for diesel fuel before asphalt builds up) and takes far less to clean equipment, the in use cost is similar to the cost of diesel. When you add to that the reduction in labor cost because the workers do not have to go to the bucket or sprayer as often to clean their tools, and paver clean up goes from six hours of billed labor cost to two or three hours, PaveForce is more economical to use than diesel. Especially when you add in the peace of mind a contractor has because he isn’t worried about EPA fines for illegally spilling diesel. One fine for $10,000 makes the cost of using diesel fuel pretty high.

If this occurs all he has to do is rinse the affected area with water. We made PaveForce to deactivate with water to prevent it from effecting the asphalt.

Paving contractors legally put asphalt on the ground every day. Asphalt in its natural state is a solid. When PaveForce dissolves the asphalt and it becomes a liquid and goes onto the ground it will only stay in a liquid state as long as there is a solvent present to keep it liquid. Since after only five days over 50% of PaveForce will biodegrade and almost 100% after 30 days, the solvent will no longer be present to keep the asphalt in a liquid state. Therefore, the asphalt will return to its natural solid state just like it was when the contractor put the asphalt on the ground to make a road. This will not get into the water supply like it would had they used diesel fuel.

Citrus products, made from d-limonene (orange oil), are fairly effective cleaners. However, they do not meet the regulations set forth in The Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). According to RCRA citrus products are considered Hazardous Waste for disposal because their flashpoint (typically around 119 degrees F.) is below the 140 degrees minimum required. Thus, citrus products when used should be captured and hauled off as hazardous waste. PaveForce has a flashpoint well over 200 degrees and therefore is not hazmat like citrus products. In addition, because of the low flashpoint of citrus products, they evaporate very quickly and do not leave a slick film on tools and equipment like PaveForce does. For cleaning the evaporation of the solvent means you must use four or five times more. For shovels and tools you will use ten or twenty times more.

NoTrax

NoTrax is primarily designed to prevent asphalt from building up on rubber tires on Material Transfer Machines, especially when the machine is equipped with a tire spray down system like the optional tire spray system that is offered on the Weiler E2850. It is also excellent for use on rubber tire rollers, track pavers, truck beds, and anywhere else you want to prevent asphalt from sticking.

NoTrax could be used in conjunction with PaveForce. NoTrax is not a cleaner. It does not dissolve asphalt. It could be used on shovels that are clean and will help prevent asphalt form adhering for a period of time. However, once asphalt does start to stick, and eventually it will, PaveForce would have to be used to remove the asphalt before continuing with NoTrax.

Yes, NoTrax should be diluted with water at a rate starting at 10 to1. Higher dilution ratios may be achieved in some applications, but it must be diluted at least 10 to 1. Be sure the dilution is mixed thoroughly before application.

No, there is not a minimum stocking order. However, product orders must be in pallet quantities on each order. Four 55 gallon drums come to a pallet, twenty-four 5 gallon pails to a pallet, and of course one 275 gallon tote to a pallet.

No, there is no sales quota. You sell as much as you can. Each territory is different. Because PaveForce is a “consumable product”, your sales will increase dramatically over time. Once a customer establishes PaveForce as part of their daily operations, reorders are automatic when their supply is gone. We would expect sales of 10,000 gallons or more per year once you get your paving customers using the product.

First of all, it is our job to help you sell the product. The product really sells itself once the customer tries it. We will work with you to do customer demos and other things like trade shows, etc. We havea100% buy back guarantee for your initial stocking order so in the highly unlikely event that you do not sell all of that order within a year and you want to return the unsold amount, you can do so for a refund at the price you paid less any freight cost.

Yes! David Elam, who is in charge of the PaveForce Brand and our CAT Distributorship Program will set up a time to come do customer visits with your Paving Specialist and PSSRs. David has been selling biodegradable asphalt solvents for more than 20 years and has developed a personal customer base which purchases over 25,000 gallons of product per year. He has customers who have been purchasing the product for over 20 years and contractors who have implemented the product into their paving operations for over 12 years.

In reality we have not competition, because PaveForce is the most advanced and effective environmentally safe product on the market. Most of your customers are most likely still using diesel fuel for the purpose of cleaning and release. Since this is not EPA or DOT compliant, this option is going away fast. Some customers have tried Citrus and Soy products but do not have near the success as with PaveForce. See the training information on these products.

We have a Distributor Agreement and a Trademark Agreement that must be signed by a principle with your dealership. Once those are executed you will need to place an initial stocking order and set up a time for David to come work with your Paving Specialists and PSSRs. Then have your marketing department download the literature templates to customize them for your dealership and start contacting your paving customers to inform them that you are now carrying this much needed product.

That is entirely up to you. You can charge whatever your market will bear. Most of our Dealers are marking the product up between 30% and 50%.

The potential market will vary from one dealership to another depending on how many paving customers you have in your area. We can do a market analysis for you to determine your market profit potential. Because this product is consumable, once your customers buy in to replacing their use of diesel fuel with PaveForce and NoTrax, they will simply re-order when they are out. This means your sales will continue to increase over time as you get more and more customers using PaveForce and NoTrax. Remember, this product is used not only by paving contractors, but by city and county highway departments, and state DOTs. You should be able to build sales of at least 20,000 gallons per year which would mean a profit potential of up to $120,000 to $160,000.
